Talent Show

The talent show will be at the Palace on April 14. Auditions will be after school in the bandroom on March 10. You must sign up in Ms. Pickard's room B110 or Ms. Tapp's room G108.

PTSA Membership Meeting is March 8, 6:00 p.m., in the Library.

Club News

Attention Beta Members

The March meeting will be on Wednesday, March 16. All members attending convention should go by B107 to pick up your permission form. It must be turned in at the meeting on March 16.

Any member who wants to participate in the Relay for Life needs to go by Ms. Sweeney's room to pick up a registration form. The forms must be filled out and turned back in by this Wednesday to Ms. Sweeney's room.

Return from Competition

After a great trip to Pigeon Forge Laura Standefer placed 7th in Medical Spelling if you see her in the hall congratulate her please.

HOSA members remember Thursday is 8th grade night. Come by and see Ms. Gilpin for plans.

French Club Movie Meeting

French cine club will meet this Wednesday in D103 from 3 to 5. The film is the dark comedy Delicatessen a mercredi!

Dance Team Practice

There will be dance team rehearsal until 4:30 in the choir room tomorrow. Bring appropriate dance attire.

Seniors News

Attention Seniors

The Local Scholarship Packets are ready and may be picked up in the Guidance Office. Please see Ms. Young or Mrs. Hicks

The Raymond Shadden Memorial scholarship is available in the Guidance office for any student that plans on attending the TN Technology Center at Crossville. Please stop by the guidance office and pick up an application.

Music and Theatre Scholarships

The John Brewer and Robert Stepp band and Musical scholarships are now available in the guidance office. There is also the Mary D. Crabtree scholarship available to Seniors involved in theatre, dance, or vocal music. To be eligible for any of these scholarships you must have a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

Free College

Attention to all seniors, if you are interested in going to college and would like to have no tuition dues, no payments at all, health benefits, dental, housing payments, benefits for family. Do you want to get through college and NO DEBTS?

You actually get paid while going to college. If you are interested please bring your NAME and HOME phone number to Mr. Brock in room A101.

Fairfield Glade Garden Club Scholarships

If you are planning to major in horticulture or forestry, you may be eligible for the FFG Garden Club Scholarship.

Art Scholarship

Three $1500 scholarships will be awarded to outstanding art students who plan to attend the University of Tennessee.

Youth Baseball and Softball Scholarships

If you have played Dixie Youth Baseball or Softball at any time you are eligible for one of these scholarships. Stop by the guidance office for information.

College Scholarships for Individuals with Parents with Disabilities, Application forms are available at: www.lookingglass.org

The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee has 36 scholarships now available. You must go to: www.cfmt.org to find a detailed listing of each scholarship. Deadline April 1.
